PROPERTY FROM AN AMERICAN PRIVATE COLLECTION A SOFT-PASTE WHITE-GLAZED LONG NECK VASE18th/19th century The oval body rising from a splayed foot to a long neck flaring at the mouth, finely molded with three stylized flower heads of peony and hibiscus paced between intricate leafy sprays, flanked by a ring of ruyi -heads and keyfret at the shoulder and a band of upright lappets and keyfret at the foot, the neck decorated with narrow leaves pointing upwards, the creamy white glaze evenly covers inside and out, the bottom of foot ring pared clean before firing. 17in (43.2cm) high 十八/十九世紀 漿胎印花長頸瓶 Provenance: The Estate of Helen Marshall 出處: Helen Marshall 遺產 For a smaller high-shouldered vase similarly molded with a design of scrolling foliage and large flower-heads and bearing an impressed Qianlong seal mark, see Monochrome Porcelain, Theplete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum , Hong Kong, 1999, p. 261, no. 239.
