Famille noire lidded box. CHINA, 19th c., round cylindrical form with flared base and two side handles, round lid with knob. Black background and white reserves are painted with Chinese emblems and symbols, such as cranes, a phoenix and butterflies among water lilies and crysanthemums. H: 20,5 cm.
