A William IV and later mahogany extending dining table A William IV and later mahogany extending dining table, 20th century, the rectangular top with rounded corners raised on twin pedestals having turned columns on quatraform platform bases, with brass castors, 415cm long 130cm wide 74cm high Condition report: The top is made from sections of old table leaves with small gaps present where each section meets, it also has minor surface scratches and blemishesmensurate with age. The frieze has two noiceble areas of crossbanding missing approx. 3cm, there are also three smaller sections of cossbanding missing one of approx 2cm, the other two smaller. The platform bases have scuffs and sctaches to their edges and one base has two splits. The bearers are later additions and the underside of the bases have a strengthening platform only visible from the underside.
