A set of eighteen Victorian mahogany dining chairs A set of eighteen Victorian mahogany dining chairs, mid-19th century, including one elbow chair, the pad backs and stuff over serpentine seats upholstered in buttoned cream leather, raised on carved cabriole supports descending onto castors to front, 62cm wide 50cm deep 93cm high, seat 45cm high dining chairs; 49cm wide 46cm deep 88cm high, seat 45cm high Condition report: Minor scuffs and scratches to frames, more prominent on the back legs. Some creasing and marks to leather with button missing to one seat. Two chairs have a castor missing to their front legs - one loose the other not present. Another has a broken front foot - broken section present and castor also present. One chair back is detached from uprights. Carver has section of timber missing at the junction between the arm upright and arm.
