Loetz (Austrian), a ‘Medici’ iridescent glass vase, c.1900, ground out pontil, The shouldered oviform decorated in vibrant golden-greens with hints of turquoise and puce on a bronzed-chestnut ground, 20.6 cm high Provenance: purchased from John Jesse. Property from a private collectionA small fold on the neck rim and some occasional tiny bubbles from the making process. There is an open bubble at the centre of the ground out pontil but this was how it was made. Some light natural wear.
