René Lalique (French 1860-1945), ‘Bouchon Cassis’ No.494 a glass perfume bottle with ‘Tiara’ stopper and white staining, Designed 1920, finely engraved 'R. Lalique' and partial moulded 'R. Laliq', The clear glass bottle moulded with vertical lines heightened withplimenting coloured enamel, the elaborate stopper of cassis colour moulded with pendant stems laden with blackcurrants, with white staining on the stopper, 11.5 cm highThere are some minute abrasions on the neck rim, underside of the foot rim and on the stopper and an occasional fine scratch. There are also some tiny open bubbles and inclusions in the glass from the making process. There is a tiny nick/open bubble on the edge of the shoulder on the stopper shank and on the end of the tiara stopper. The white staining is a little faded. Overall in good condition.
