A LARGE LEMON-YELLOW AND UNDERGLAZE BLUE VASE, 19TH CENTURYChina, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), late 19th century. Of tianqiuping shape, originally covered in a white crackled glaze probably from the Daoguang period, subsequently painted in Kangxi style during the 19th century, fired at high temperature and then painted with yellow enamel and fired at low temperature. Depicting two reserves with figural scenes, surrounded by auspicious flowers, fruits, and butterflies.Provenance: Slovakian private collection, the base with an old gallery label inscribed 'Antquita Donati Vercelli' dating the piece to the Jiaqing period (1796-1820).Condition: Good condition, commensurate with age, small chips at the rim.Weight: 3.3 kgDimensions: Height 41.7 cm
