A FLAMBE-GLAZED VASE, TIANQIUPING, 1900sChina, late Qing dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). The pear-shaped body surmounted by a tall slender neck, supported on a recessed base, covered overall with a thick layer of crushed strawberry glaze, with light crackles and lavender streaks, irregularly pooling in thick drops above the unglazed foot, revealing the buff ware.Provenance: German private collection.Condition: Very good condition with minor wear, some firing irregularities, and chipping to the glaze drips.Weight: 2,864 gDimensions: Height 27.5 cm
