A LARGE DEHUA PORCELAIN FIGURE OF STANDING GUANYIN, 1900sChina, late Qing dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). The well-figured deity draped in voluminous robes, standing on a lotus base, gazing peacefully downwards, the thick hair tied in a high chignon surrounded by an elaborate tiara enclosing a small figure of Amitabha Buddha, in her left a ruyi scepter, covered overall with a luscious white glaze. Two dehua seal marks impressed to her back.Provenance: Czech private collection.Condition: Excellent condition with minor wear, and manufacturing flaws such as fritting.Weight: 2,776 gDimensions: Height 42 cm
