Depicting the bodhisattva with eleven heads and eight arms, adorned in an elaborate dhoti, flowing patterned robes and jewelry, with two hands held together in namaskara mudra, one held out in varada mudra, and the other hands each holding a different attribute including a dharma wheel, a mala, a lotus blossom, a bow, and a long-life vessel, standing against a halo radiating golden threads of light, atop a large lotus flower emerging from the water. Framed by a fine brocade mounting. Inscriptions to backside.Provenance: Private collection, Belgium.
