A MINIATURE RUBY PENDANT OF A TIGER, 1900sBurma / Myanmar, late 19th - early 20th century. Carved as a reclining tiger with the front paws extended, the head lifted facing forward, with an aperture and gold wire for suspension as a pendant. The translucent stone of a pleasing pink hue.Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik Istvan Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
