A MUGHAL-STYLE HARDSTONE 'LOTUS' INCENSE BURNERIndia, late 19th century. The lotus shaped bowl raised on a splayed cylindrical foot, a gilt metal fitting to the lip. The opaque stone of a mottled pale green tone with darker speckles and cloudy inclusions.Condition: Good condition with old wear, minor nicks, and light scratches. The stone with natural fissures.Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik Istvan Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
