A peachbloom-glazed amphora vase Liuye Zun, Kangxi period, ca. 1700, China, A tall slender tapering scholar s desk vase, a so called Liuye Zun. With a six character Kangxi mark in underglaze blue and probably of the period. With a metal rim along the top. H 15 cm, Two hairlines in the top rim and an associated chip on one of the hairlines on the underside of the rim (see close-up photos). No other chips or hairlines and no restoration.
