The shallow dish with slightly rounded walls, the interior finely incised with a central medallion enclosing a shou character with bats hovering around it, encircled by crashing waves and ruyi clouds, the cavetto with further clouds, the exterior similarly decorated, the rim with a border of keyfret, all covered with an unctuous, pale misty green celadon glaze apart from the base which is left white and inscribed with the six-character reign mark of Yongzheng in underglaze blue within a double circle.
