A MAYBE COUMPOUND FIVE-PIECE (5) CHINESE EXPORT SILVER ‘BAMBOO’ TEA AND COFFEE SET BY C.J. & CO AND LTH CHINA, SHANGHAI, LATE QING DYNASTY, EARLY 20TH CENTURY It is composed of: - one lidded coffee pot; - one lidded teapot; - one lidded sugar bowl; - one lidded cream pot; - one two-handled tray. All pieces have bamboo-shaped handles. All pieces are adorned with bamboo. Each piece bears marks amidst which: 'C.J.' for the tray, 'LTH' for the creampot, 'LTH' for the sugar bowl, 'L.T.H.' for the teapot and 'C.J.Co.' for the coffee pot.
