兰亭巨砚，宋坑端石所制，覆池刻兰亭全文。虽为单刀刻，但极富兰亭序笔意，定为文人自刻。此类单刀刻法类西冷八家边款刻法。又查日本七五年所出版《古名观》，日其中有圆兰亭多方其中有“乾隆年制”纪年款的兰亭亦为单刀刻。故将此定为清中期制品(日本藏砚，历来以兰亭，蓬莱为最优，国内精品多搜去，乃至八十年代后出口以仿品居多，至使鱼目混珠，令初学者目眩。然而，藏古砚须知，此式样纹饰如绘画，艺术价值极高，见真品不可放过) 品级:珍品 一级
