A RARE JADE CONG-FORM BEAD, LIANGZHU CULTURE China, circa 3300-2200. Of rounded square form, carved as a three-tiered miniature cong. Each register is finely incised with stylized masks at each of the four corners. The bead is neatly drilled from both sides, exactly as expected from a miniature cong from this distinct group. The stone is now opaque and of buff color from alteration.

Provenance: From a private estate in New York City, USA.
Condition: Very good condition with minor old wear, one edge with a small smoothened chip. The stone with natural fissures which have developed into small hairline cracks over time. Very fine polish and good, unctuous feel overall.

品相：品相非常好，輕微磨損 ，一角上有小磕損，隨著時間的推移已經變得平滑。帶有天然裂縫的石料，隨著時間的推移，其中一些可能會發展成細小的裂縫。非常精細的拋光和良好的整體感覺。
