A WHITE JADE 'CHILONG' BELT HOOK, 18TH CENTURY China. Carved on top in high relief with a sinuous chilong, the hook in the form of a chilong head, finely incised with a mane. The reverse with an oval knob, to the sides incised with ruyi shaped scrolls. The translucent stone is of a superb white color with very few cloudy white inclusions.

Provenance: North-American trade.
Condition: Very good condition with minor old wear, few minuscule nicks to edges.

中國。帶板頂面鏤空高浮雕手法琢刻蟠螭龍紋，身姿盤曲婉轉，靈動飄逸，四足蹬地，長尾分叉。底部有凸起圓鈕。整器造型精緻典雅，雕琢細膩傳神，玉質溫潤，晶瑩細膩。
