Bagua, or the Eight Trigrams, is a symbol consisting of eight areas, connecting two neighboring corners of an octagonal trigram towards the center to form one gua. The center contains a yin and yang symbol. In Feng Shui, the Bagua map is used to stabilize, protect, adjust, or restore balance by analyzing and structuring any given space. Each section of the space is believed to relate to various aspects of life and is divided into categories concerning physical and emotional aspects of life such as family and career.
