A COPPER ALLOY 'BAMBOO' CENSER, QING DYNASTY China, 1644-1912. Finely cast in openwork, supported on three curled bamboo branches which extend to the sides of the vessel with leafy tendrils, applied on each side with an L-shaped handle emulating a section of bamboo.

Provenance: From a German private collection.
Condition: Very good condition with some old wear, traces of use and casting flaws, few nicks and dents, and light scratches.
