A FOUR-COLOR OVERLAY SNOWFLAKE GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE, 18TH-19TH CENTURY China. Of compressed globular form, carved through the emerald green, ruby red, sapphire blue and aubergine layer to the bubble suffused ground, with various flower sprays, pomegranate, and a gourd issuing from a base section in the form of a basket, a butterfly and bat flying above.

Provenance: French trade.
Condition: Very good condition with minor old wear, few minuscule nibbles.

中國。扁圓形，圓柱形直頸，橢圓形圈足，雪花地套寶石紅、寶藍、翠綠和紫色色料。綠色花籃為底，上可見藍色蝴蝶、紅色石榴和蝙蝠、紫色花卉，都是幸福如意吉祥的寓意。
