A HAIR CRYSTAL SNUFF BOTTLE, QING DYNASTY China, 1730-1850. Very well-hollowed, the ovoid body rising from an oval foot to a broad cylindrical neck with concave top. The translucent stone suffused with scattered icy inclusions and a dense network of copper-brown rutile needles of various sizes and thicknesses.

Provenance: From a French private collection.
Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and little nibbling to foot and mouth.
