微撇口，弧壁，圈足。造型规整，盘形周正，胎体坚硬细密，形制优美。器内外壁皆施霁红釉，口沿留有一线「灯草口」，对比鲜明。釉色深沉匀净，釉质光亮，釉面莹润。
霁红釉是以铜为着色剂的高温釉品种，其烧造难度较大。道光年间龚洵在所编《景德镇陶歌》中称：“官古窑成重霁红，最难全美费良工。霜天晴昼精心合，一样抟烧百不同。”由此可见霁红釉器烧造之难。拍品内外壁满施霁红釉，釉面肥腴润泽，呈色均匀，为乾隆一朝霁红釉器之佳品。
