拍品呈花口，杯心立一老者。老者身穿蓝袍，长须垂胸。公道杯源于明洪武年间，是颇有趣味的饮酒用瓷制品。其利用虹吸原理，杯心立柱内暗藏U形管道，下方有开口。当杯中酒超过立柱内平面高度时，杯中之酒便会从开口通过U形管经底孔全部漏掉，一滴不剩，寓意“满招损，谦受益”的人生处世哲理。
