盖碗全器通施白釉，釉面光润莹亮，外壁及盖面以粉彩绘《无双谱》人物图案，每个暦史人物上方有墨书题记介绍对应人物的姓名及小传。所绘人物特征鲜明，服饰华丽，笔触细腻，神形兼备，所书诗文工笔考究，井然有序。
《无双谱》是清初浙派版画的力作，自刻成以来翻刻甚众。道光到同治朝一直盛行，瓷器无双谱画通常图文并茂，深受瓷器收藏者喜爱。
