粥罐应为装盛高温液体，如汤、粥所用，故俗称“粥罐”，其在晚明时期开始流行，以青花器为常见。拍品直口，圆腹，圈足。颈部有一周海浪形暗刻纹饰，腹部通景以青花绘花鸟图，洞石通透，各种花卉盛开，蝴蝶翻飞，一只小鸟向前飞掠，另一只小鸟回首呼应。整体画风精整灵秀，布局疏密有致，青花发色纯正，颇为文雅。
