J.-C) A POTTERY MODEL OF A HORSE AND RIDER Wei Dynasty (386-550 AD) The soldier finely modelled seated atop a caparisoned horse, the right arm extended along his waist, the left arm bent, the horse with a saddle and a long cloth cascading above the mud guards, with traces of pigments. 26.9cm (10 5/8in) high.
