An Epirus silk embroidered linen textile panel (bocha), 18th century, embroidered in red, blue white and yellow on a dark gold ground, with a dense pattern of large red scrolling and spiky leaves, blue lozenge shape flowers, red and yellow striped tulips, the interstices filled with small white carnations and lobed red leaves enclosing small yellow flowers, mounted on a stretcher with modern silk cover, 103 x 99.4cm.
