Walter Greaves, British 1846-1930- Seated girl; pen and brown ink on paper, signed 'W. Greaves' (lower right), 15.8 x 15.2 cm. Provenance: Mr and Mrs A. Thornton, January 1984.; with Michael Parkin Fine Art, London, no.124.; Private Collection, UK. Note: Greaves was undoubtedly influenced by James Abbott McNeill Whistler (1834-1903), for whom he worked as a studio assistant for many formative years of his early career. Although perhaps best known for his views of the Thames, Greaves also completed a number of portraits, as in the present work. 品相报告: Please refer to department for condition report
