A pair of George Jones olive-brown porcelain pate-sur-pate wall pockets, c.1885, 5653 in gilding to the reverse, attributed to Frederick Schenk, each finely painted and hand-tooled in white slip with a winged nymph and Cupid perched in a tree, playing the harp, the edges heightened in gilding and backs pierced with a hole for suspension, 22.5cm high, 15.5cm wide (2)Note: A very similar pair are illustrated by Geoffrey A.
