A large French gilt-brass repeating carriage clock, late 19th century, by Margaine, the architectural case with swing handle above four columns and bevelled glass panels, the circular dial with Arabic numerals and black spade hands, with platform lever escapement, striking a gong, numbered 11369 to backplate and underside, backplate with trademark stamp for François-Arsene Margaine of Paris, with key, 21cm high, 10.6cm wide Please note that Roseberys do not guarantee working order or time keeping of any automatic, mechanical, quartz or other timepiece offered for sale.The case with scratches and tarnishing.
