A Meissen porcelain dish and cover with landscape decor Painted with small landscapes in puce to the outer surface and original lid. Blue caduceus mark. A chip to the rim of the lid, a minor firing fault in the blue mark. H 8.2 cm. Meissen, the porcelain 1730s, decorated in the manner of Franz Ferdinand Mayer in Pressnitz / Prísecnice, 1730 - 50. Provenance The Darmstaedter collection, Berlin, sold by Rudolph Lepke Berlin, 24th - 26th March 1925, lot 416. Hans H. Mischell, Cologne. Private collection, Westphalia since 1968. Deckelschale mit Purpurlandschaften Porzellan, Camaieudekor in Purpur, Vergoldung. Um den Korpus drei kleine Landschaften im Inselstil, auf dem zugehörigen, allerdings etwas zu kleinen Deckel drei Rosenzweige. Breite Goldspitzenbordüren mit kleinen (allegorischen) Figuren um die Ränder. Blaumarke Caduceus. Chip am Deckelrand, kleiner Brandriss in der Blaumarke. H 8,2 cm.
