A Meissen porcelain cup and saucer with landscapes Painted with detailed landscapes in three gilt edged reserves, the cup with a merchant navy scene. Blue crossed swords mark, dreher`s mark * presumably that of Paul Wildenstein (saucer). Minor losses to the green pigment of the cup. D saucer 12.9 cm. C. 1735 - 40, decor attributed to Christian Friedrich Herold. Provenance Private collection, Rhineland. Tasse und Untertasse mit Landschaften und Farbfond Porzellan, seegrüner Aufglasur- und Goldfond, farbiger Aufglasurdekor. Drei goldgerahmte Reserven mit fein gemalten Landschaften, auf der Tasse eine Kauffahrteiszene. Innen- und Fondvergoldung. Blaumarke Schwerter, Dreherzeichen Stern wohl für Paul Wildenstein (UT). Punktuelle Verluste im Seegrün der Tasse. UT D 12,9 cm. Meissen, um 1735 - 40, der Dekor Christian Friedrich Herold, zugeschrieben. Provenienz Rheinische Privatsammlung.
