For a glass cup of comparable size and shape, see an 'imitation realgar' glass wine cup, Qianlong four-character mark and of the period, which was sold at Christie's Hong Kong, 29 May 2013, lot 2312.杯白料玻璃質，光素無紋，圓口薄唇，斜腹下收於平底，底心略微內凹，陰刻「嘉慶年製」四字楷書款，字口填金。此杯型可參考北京故宮藏一件清乾隆茶色玻璃酒杯，見張榮著，《光凝秋水：清宮造辦處玻璃器》，北京，2005年，頁284，編號113。又可參考一件清乾隆雄黃料酒杯，其器型尺寸與本件頗似，售於香港佳士得，2013年5月29日，拍品編號2312。
