Description A GROUP OF FIVE PERSIAN TURQUOISE INTAGLIO SEALSAncient Persia /Iran, c. 3rd – 6th century. Of oval from, four with an engraved depiction of a four-legged animal and one with a portrait. The stones with darker inclusions and in beautiful hues of turquoise with areas of spinach-green and lighter blue.Condition: Good condition with some notches and weathering commensurate with age. Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
