Description TWO BAMBOO HANAKAGO FLOWER BASKETS, MEIJIJapan, Meiji period (1868-1912). Both woven with various patterns creating an appealing contrast, the bamboo finished to a dark-red tone. The first of baluster shape, the sides with two loops suspending movable ring handles, the second of compressed globular body rising to a tall neck and circular mouth, flanked by two small handles and signed at the base.Condition: Very good condition with minor wear.
