Description KINKOZAN: A RARE CLOISONNE DESIGN PORCELAIN BOX AND COVER, MEIJIJapan, Meiji period (1868-1912)Decorated with a cloisonné floral design on a turquoise ground, the top of the cover with encircled fruity branches. The interior covered in a cracked cream glaze and with an incised signature, the recessed base with a manufacturer's mark in iron red 'Kinkozan, Kyoto, Japan'.Condition: With minor wear and firing flaws, with tiny chips to the cover rim and a larger chip to the bowl's interior rim, otherwise good condition.Provenance: German private collection.Weight: 435 gDimensions: Height 8 cm, diameter 14 cm
