Description A SCROLL PAINTING OF A JAPANESE LADY, c. 1900sJapan, late Meiji period (1868-1912). Watercolor, gouache and ink on silk. Depicting a young lady dressed in a pink kimono with foliate design, holding bell flowers, and gazing in the distance. Mounted as a hanging scroll with fabric coated paper and with blue and white painted porcelain handles. Inscription and seal at the left margin.Condition: Very good condition, foxing, few minor stains, the mount with few small holes, and watermarks.
