Chinese bronze censer, likely 18th to 19th century. With profuse incised decoration along the exterior and two foo dog mask handles. Marked along the underside with an apocryphal six-character Xuande period reign mark. With a pierced and carved wooden stand.Censer; height: 2 3/4 in x diameter: 6 in. Stand; height: 1 in x diameter: 5 1/2 in.品相报告: The censer is in fair condition. There is one minute chip to the rim. Consistent with its age and use, dust collected to the surface; there are some areas with oxidation. By the extreme edge of one of the fu dog ornamentation, there is a minute hole. To the left of the hole, there is an area that is discolored bright and oxidized. Right above it, there is a trianglular shaped area that is discolored- possibly there used to be a sticker attached to the surface, which is now detached. There is a white residue collected along the recessed areas of the work, possibly due to a prior cleaning or polishing attempt. Along the interior, there is heavy oxidation visible; there is a network of white accretion to the side. Heavy wear and oxidation on the underside. Consistent with its age and use, wear to the foot rim; there is a minute chip to the foot rim. Consistent with its age and use, wear to the stand; dust collected to the surface, particularly to recessed areas; there is an area that is discolored, 3 1/2 inch long.
