Description
Translation provided by Youdao
Chinese Northern Song dynasty teadust glazed stoneware vase or bowl, 10th to 11th century. With a compressed body and short neck and a finely mottled green-brown glaze. Cha ye mo, or "teadust" glaze, was used as early as the Tang dynasty produced at the Yaozhou kilns but it was not until the early 18th century that the glaze was widely produced. It was ideal for reproductions of bronze originals due to the subdued color of the glaze.Height: 2 3/4 in x diameter: 4 1/2 in.品相报告: The vase is in excellent condition with no visible cracks or losses, or major chips. The footrim has a minute chip. Original firing flaws throughout. No sign of restoration under UV light. Light wear to the underside, consistent with age and use. Please contact us for a detailed condition report. Please note that the lack of a condition statement does not imply perfect condition.
