這是徠卡生產的CL系列原型鏡頭，其鏡頭序號不在正常之列，鏡頭前端亦刻有特別的光學編號C241。徠卡只為CL系列推出過兩款鏡頭，分別是40mm及90mm版本，當中Elmarit 40mm鏡頭的總產量亦只有大約500支，所以這支焦距50mm的CL系列鏡頭可謂絕無僅有，收藏價值極高。在James Lager Vol.II p.229中可找同相類鏡頭。此鏡配有前後蓋。
