A Chinese porcelain dish with a bracket-lobed rim and is finely decorated in vibrant tones of cobalt blue with a bird perched amongst large peonies blossoming branches, all surrounded by further lappet-shaped panels enclosing alternating bird perched on a flowering branch, lemon, peach and pomegranate blossoming branches separated by brocade designs. The reverse is decorated with roundels enclosing small flower heads and peaches. Diameter: 26.3 cm.Provenance: Dutch private collection
