Elegantly potted with ovoid body and waisted neck rising to an everted rim, the slender neck embellished with two raised horizontal ribs in imitation of bamboo, covered in a rich flambé glaze of dark purplish-red tone, suffused with delicate pale blue and white streaks, thinning to crackled beige at the rim. The bottom is unglazed. Height: 33 cm.
