提要：《髤饰录》为我国现存惟一古代漆器专著，三四百年来仅有手写孤本藏日本蒹葭堂，世称蒹葭本，据序文可知，民国初紫江朱桂辛先生致函日本大村西崖氏，请为抄一副本惠寄，桂老据此副本校订后由陶湘涉园付梓，存世极少。是书开本阔大，版式极佳，镌椠精湛，字体秀丽，应据抄本景刻，颇为悦目。
