A ceramic oil lamp with short nozzle, lug handle to the rear; the discus with an image of Leda copulating with Jupiter (Greek Zeus) in the form of a swan; ring-and-dot decoration to the outer rim with two panels of hatched lines. 59 grams, 10cm (4"). Property of a professional Austrian gentleman; part of his private collection since the 1990s. Very fine condition.
