A ceramic oil lamp with rounded nozzle, volute scroll to each side, lug handle to the rear; the discus decorated with high-relief facing bust of Medusa, wearing a winged crown with snake heads framing the face. 73 grams, 11cm (4 1/4"). Property of a professional Austrian gentleman; part of his private collection since the 1990s. Very fine condition.
