A substantial bronze fitting from a chariot or piece of furniture in the form of a youthful male, possibly Attis or Ganymede, wearing a Phrygian cap with band of curly hair sticking out, bare torso below; suspension ring to the back of the neck and iron tang to the back of body. 648 grams, 13cm (5"). Property of a Suffolk gentleman; acquired before 2000. Very fine condition.
