A bronze pyxis with ribbed sidewall, concentric rings to the underside, trumpet-shaped mouth, lateral loops with chains securing a hook and lid. 128 grams, 23cm including chain (8 7/8 including chain"). Property of a Mayfair lady; formerly in an important London collection formed since 1965. Very fine condition.
