Ex Abelita family collection, 1980-2015. The spearhead belongs to the subtype L2.B.d of the Gernez classification. There are two main variants of this type: one with a rounded biconcave blade and rhomboidal section, like in the present specimen; the second with a blade of more triangular shape and circular-section stem; both with a tang, almost equally wide and flattened. Various examples have been excavated in the necropolis of Khinaman and from Bactria. Condition Report Fine condition.
