Measurements: 65 x 45 cm; 78,5 x 58 cm (frame). -Encarnación Domingo began her artistic education under the guidance of Manuel Soria, taking drawing classes at the School of Arts and Crafts in Avilés. In 1979 she became a member of the Salinas group, and in 1985 she began to teach in the Salinas children s group. Years later, in 1999, she held her first exhibition, and abandoned her work as a teacher, thus initiating a period of personal research, which enabled her to resume her academic training, studying various disciplines such as engraving, sculpture and ceramics through courses. In 2008 she returned to teaching, in this case as a teacher at the School of Arts and Crafts. Throughout her career she has participated in numerous exhibitions, including solo shows, among which are those held at; Amaga Gallery (2020), Alfara Gallery (2020), City of Aviés Urban Museum (2017), Central Post Office in Oviedo (2015), Obra Social Caja España (2011), Jesús Otero Santillana del Mar Museum (2010), BBVA Exhibition Hall (2006), Madrid Arte & Arte Gallery, Cultural Centre "La Despernada" Villanueva de la Cañada, and Madrid Elisa Cendrero Museum (2004), among others. He currently has works in important art collections including; BBVA Foundation of Oviedo, Asturias, Municipal Museum of Plastic Arts; Tarancón, Cuenca, Antonio López Torres Museum, Tomelloso, Ciudad Real, Casa de la Moneda Museum, Madrid, School of Arts and Crafts - Avilés, Asturias, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of León, Asturias UGT Cultural Foundation, Oviedo, Carriegos Foundation, León, Davis - Museum, Barcelona and the Museum of History of Avilés, among many others.
